Mission

Our Mission

At St. Ann School, your child's academic preparation will be based on a proven curriculum of religion, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, music and technology blended with a wide range of extracurricular activities. Our goal is to provide a healthy balance which will develop the whole child. St. Ann School will give students a positive start in life.

In addition to an excellent academic preparation, children in our school learn the importance of self-respect, self-esteem and self-discipline. Children learn the importance of working together to create a better world. In our school you will find the consistent teaching, principles and morals that reinforce values. St. Ann School provides an exceptional academic education guided by talented and committed teachers who also provide a firm foundation in faith and a moral compass to our students.

Come & See!

We invite you to come and see why a Catholic Education is the greatest gift you can give to your child. See what an education at St. Ann School will mean to your child's future.

It is more than a fine academic learning experience. A Catholic Education is individualized and personal. It seeks to develop the whole child in mind, body, and spirit. A Catholic Education at St. Ann School will strengthen your child's faith, help to develop your child's mind, and give your child the tools to succeed in life.

Other Thoughts

We view education in terms of message, community, worship, and service. The students and faculty are inspired to appreciate the faith in their lives, to understand community in a global as well as local sense, to experience personal and communal prayer, and to realize the service to others is basic to the gospel message of Jesus.

St. Ann School serves the greater Cape Ann community. Our faculty has a responsibility to foster, by both word and example, Christian values which mirror the belief in the special dignity given to each person by Jesus Christ.

We view academic excellence as an achievable goal for all the students as each one learns and grows according to individual talents. We believe that the total education of each student necessitates an active collaboration with both parents and our parishes.

Our faculty has two primary goals: To teach our students to grow as Christian disciples and to teach them to think with a critical mind. It is our hope that our students will use their knowledge and their talents in service to others. In doing this, they echo the underlying message we wish to impart: In today's world, the loving, good person, even alone, can and will make a difference.
