The School Day - Hours

The school day is from 7:50am to 2:30pm for students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade.

Pre-K I and Pre-K II classes run from 7:50am to 2:15pm. The sessions are 5-day for Pre-K I and 3-day (M/W/F) for Pre-K II.

The Pre-K III program is a 2-day program (Tues./Thurs.) from 7:50am to 11:30am.

Extended Day Program

An after-school program for Pre-K to Grade 8 is available from 2:30pm to 5:30pm. There is a daily rate for this program.

Uniforms

School uniforms are required. The uniform code is detailed in the Student Handbook.

School uniform items are available through Collegiate House Uniform Company.

Dates for measuring and ordering uniforms are scheduled approximately a month before the school year ends. For the exact date, please check the school calendar or call the school office.

Transportation

Some transportation is available through Gloucester Public Schools Transportation. Eligibility requirements must be met. More information is available by calling the school office.

After School Activities

A number of after-school activities run throughout the school year. Activities offered have included:

  • Basketball - teams participate in the Gloucester Basketball League
  • Ceramics
  • Drama
  • Girl Scouts
  • School Newspaper - run by students in the Middle School
  • Softball - teams participate in the Gloucester Softball League
  • Talent Show

We are always looking to add new after-school activites. If you have a talent you can share with our students please contact the school.

Student Council

At the beginning of each academic year the Middle School hold elections for Student Council. The role of student government is to model the democratic process and to develop in students an awareness of the rights and responsibilities of being an American citizen. Students participate in planning science projects, holding fundraisers, organizing social events and preparing and leading prayer services.
